5 Logos I Designed in 2023
I had so much fun looking back at the logos I designed in 2023. Of these logos, three were for non-profits and two were small businesses. I designed logos for organizations that support the arts (which I love!) and for women-owned small businesses (which I also love!). Not all of these logos made it to the final cut, but I still feel as if the concepts themselves are worth showing. Most of these logos were designed for the agency I work for, Hillhouse Creative, and the last logo in this post was for my own client. I would love to design more logos in 2024, so please reach out if you are interested in working together!
Logo Concepts for a Family Services Center
I really enjoyed the process of designing these two logo concepts for a family resource non-profit. The idea behind both logos was to create the shape of a house using the lines of the hands (shown in the first image) and the shape of a woman (second image). Both of these concepts remain unused, but I loved the process nonetheless! View the entire project here.
Logo Refresh for a Cultural Arts Organization
This simple mark is a logo refresh from the Kingsport Cultural Arts office. Because they redesigned their website, they decided to update their branding as well. This logo retains elements of the original mark, such as the graphic elements within the C, while bringing new creative energy to the brand.
Logo Design for an Arts Festival
Kingsport ARTS is a 2023-2024 initiative funded by the Tennessee Alliance for the Arts. Culminating in an Arts Festival, the goal of the initiative is to revitalize art in Kingsport, TN. The goal for this logo was the create a bright, colorful, and fun mark that captures the joy of creativity and community-based art. View the entire project here.
Logo Design for a Cleaning Business
A fun and funky logo for a cleaning business, Hot Mops, named because the owner boils the water they use to mop the floors. With this logo, I was inspired by retro designs, fun colors, and hand-lettering. View the entire project here.
Logo Design for a Holistic Health Coach
I designed this logo system for a holistic health and nutrition coach in Juneau, Alaska. The lowercase letters create a sense of being approachable and accessible, and the illustration of a hand holding a bowl takes the place of the O. In the secondary logo mark, I illustrated a carrot to compliment the letters “nn”. View the project here.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these logos that I loved designing! I’m excited to see what logos I get the joy of creating in 2024.
